Lead Product Designer
I digitalised a recruiting startup consistently shipping great software. We replaced manual workflows with data-driven products reducing costs and bringing value up.
Role
Lead Product Designer
Team
Managed 4 designers, coordinated with 4 squads
Timeline
3 Years maintaining a by-weekly release train.
Results
Over 4M+ applicants
In just one year, the candidate pool grew from 2 million to 3 million candidates.
2x Candidate Processing speed
For blue collar roles, recruiters used to call candidates to ask which worksite they could attend. With a radar feature, we enabled the consulting firm to process twice as many candidates.
40% cut in candidate acquisition cost.
Through a series of iterations, we successfully lowered the acquisition costs of blue-collar candidates while reducing the time to process them.
17% Task conversion increase
We identified that many candidates left configured tasks incomplete. UX Research pointed us that the design was not optimal and after two sprints, managed to increase it by 17%
2.6x Growth in portal services
Redesign the job portal service for 17 universities, now used by over 45 institutions.
Shortlist Delivery in 3 days
The consulting firm wanted to reduce its first shortlist delivery time from 5 days to 3. Through a series of iterations, we helped achieve this.
Constant iteration

Conceptual Design:
Based on research and value, I define the vision and metrics of projects to analyze development costs, potential impact and scope.
Metrics, vision, and stakeholders are clearly documented to guide the next stage.
2.
Basic Design
In this stage, we define jobs to be done, workflows, and key information to estimate a clear picture of the length of the project.
3.
Detailed Design
With this information, I guide the team while designing, dividing tasks, testing and iterating to hand the project off to development.
4.
Analysis
A project doesn't end at launch, it evolves. Metrics are evaluated and turned into insightful interviews, decisions, and the definition of the following moves.
This stage is essential for evaluating our real impact and plan our next steps.
